Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP)


TCLP is designed to determine the mobility of both organic and inorganic analytes present in liquid, solid, and multiphasic wastes. This procedure describes the leaching technique which is then followed by analytical methods to determine metals, pesticides, herbicides, semi-volatiles, and volatiles. The regulatory limits for the TCLP compounds are listed in the "Typical Detection Limit" column below.
