Method PV2016

Cyclohexylamine

This method is for the determination of cyclohexylamine.  The sample is collected on an XAD-7 tube coated with 10% phosphoric acid.  After collection the sample is desorbed with a 1:1 methanol:deionized water solution, an aliquot is removed and added to a solution of 1:4 NaOH:methanol and then analyzed by GC/FID (flame ionization detector).

NOTE:  This is a partially validated method.
