Method 1016

Tetrachlorodifluoroethane by GC/FID


Method 1016 is used for the determination of 1,1,1,2-tetrachloro-2,2-difluoroethane and 1,1,2,2-tetrachloro-1,2-difluoroethane by GC/FID. The working range for either analyte is 120 to 1400 ppm (1000 to 12,000mg/m³) for a 2 L air sample. The sample is collected on charcoal sorbent tubes and analyzed by GC/FID after desorption in carbon disulfide. Note: This method combines and revises Methods S131 and S132.
