Ethylene Chlorohydrin by GC/FID


This method is used for the determination of ethylene chlorohydrin. The sample is collected on charcoal sorbent tubes, desorbed with 5% (v/v) 2-propanol in carbon disulfide, and analyzed by GC/FID. The working range is 1.5 to 50 mg/m³) for a 20 L air sample. During sampling, high humidity may greatly decrease the breakthrough volume. NOTE: This is Method S103 in a revised format.
