Method 7060A Solids

Arsenic (Atomic Absorption, Furnace Technique)

Method 7060 is an atomic absorption procedure approved for determining the concentration of arsenic in solid matrices. Please note that many labs have replaced the older GFAA methods (SW-846 7000 series) with SW-846 Method 6010B, analysis via ICP or SW-846 Method 6020, analysis via ICP-MS. These newer methods generally will provide similar QA/QC and lower detection limits.

* The analytes and detection limits listed for each method represent the typical detection limits and analytes reported for that particular method. Keep in mind that analyte lists may vary from laboratory to laboratory. Detection limits may also vary from lab to lab and are dependent upon the sample size, matrix, and any interferences that may be present in the sample.
