Method CC 004

Bacteria Count and Gram Stain Identification from Dust Samples

This method is for the determination of bacteria count and gram stain identification from dust samples. Samples are collected using Aerotech's CarpetChek system which uses a microvac-type sampling device with a dust cassette and a high-volume vacuum pump. The collected dust is sent to the laboratory where it can be analyzed for total and viable fungal spores.
