Standard Test Method for Water Content of Coatings by Direct Injection into a GC


This method is for the determination of volatile organic content (VOC) in waterborne paints by GC.  The method has been evaluated for latex systems (styrene-butadiene, poly(vinylacetate)-acrylic, acrylic) eposy acrylic resin systems and acrylic systems. 

The working range of the method is from 15 to 90%.
