Method 1017

Bromotrifluoromethane by GC/FID

This method is for the determination of bromotrifluoromethane. The sample is collected on charcoal sorbent tubes, desorbed in 5 mL methylene chloride, allowed to stand for 30 minutes prior to analysis by GC/FID. The working range is 80 to 3000 ppm (500 to 18,000 mg/m³ ) for a 1 L air sample. Note: This method revises Method S125.
