Method 1018

Dichlorodifluoromethane by GC/FID

This method is for the determination of dichlorodifluoromethane, 1,2-dichlorotetrafluoroethane, and chlorodifluoromethane by GC/FID. The working ranges are 1000 to 6000 ppm (5000 to 30000 mg/m³), 700-5700 ppm (5000 to 40000 mg/m³), and 300 to 4000 ppm (1000 to 14000 mg/m³) respectively for a 1 L air sample. The sample is collected on charcoal sorbent tubes and analyzed by GC/FID after desorption in methylene chloride. Note: This method combines and revises Methods S111 and S108.
