Method 1452

Ethyl Formate by GC/FID

This method is used for the determination of ethyl formate. The sample is collected on charcoal sorbent tubes and desorbed in 1 ml carbon disulfide, and analyzed using GC/FID. The working range is 3.3 to 210 ppm (10 to 630 mg/m³) for a 10 L air sample. Note: This method revises Method S36.
