Method 2528

2-Nitropropane by GC/FID

This method is used for the determination of 2-nitropropane. The sample is collected on Chromosorb 106 sorbent tubes, and desorbed in 1 mL ethyl acetate. The sample is then analyzed by GC/FID. The working range is 1.4 to 27 ppm (5 to 100 mg/m³) for a 2 L air sample. NOTE: This method revises P&CAM 272.
