Method TO-1

Volatile Organic Compounds from Tenax® Sorbent Tubes by GC/MS

TO-1 is a procedure for the collection and determination of certain volatile organic compounds which can be captured on Tenax® and determined by thermal desorption GC/MS techniques. Compounds which can be determined by this method are nonpolar organics having boiling points in the approximate range of 80-200°C.

* The analytes and detection limits listed for each method represent the typical detection limits and analytes reported for that particular method. Keep in mind that analyte lists may vary from laboratory to laboratory. Detection limits may also vary from lab to lab and are dependent upon the sample size, matrix, and any interferences that may be present in the sample.
